Water aroused the curiosity, sensitivity and creativity of humanity from its origin. The new systems of thought have drawn our attention to matter, information, the perception of societies, natural resources and knowledge, coupling these concepts and prophesying yet another undiscovered.

Based on the topics and authors mentioned who have guided a thesis, which defends the flow of nature and the importance of water in a technological world. An informative and awareness-raising conversation, through images and videos of water and the artistic work of the project The man who wanted to be water. The conversation lasts approximately 90 minutes, depending on the participation of the audience.

The man who wanted to be water

 António Abernú

The homem that wanted to be water is a project of academic research and artistic awareness around the ontology of water and environmental issues.

​

It emerged in 2011 with the debut of the show with the same name. At the invitation of the Library of the Faculty of Science and Technology U. Nova de Lisboa for the celebrations of the International Year of Chemistry.

​

Since then the project has grown and has 3 texts, 2 shows, a digital story, a story for children, a thesis, awareness talks and Video Theater.

​

António Abernú, mentor of the project. Actor, director, creator and master in communication sciences. Since he began studying water, his life changed.
